Fix a screw in to a wall

Richmond, VIC
16 Sep 2018
$25

I have an approximately 6cm screw fixed in to a plasterboard wall that has been knocked around and come lose, I need someone to secure the screw firmly in to the wall so that I can re-hang a picture frame without the screw falling off the wall. Some of the plasterboard will is coming away from the screw so the job won't be as simple as inserting a new screw in to the wall.

Great guy, very knowledgeable and great service. Would definitely recommend.

I would like help re-attaching one door back to their hinges. It is the door to the washing machine in the bathroom. It is too long for me to re-attach it myself. All the screws are still here. Available on weeknights after 5:15pm over the next two weeks and all weekend.

Jason was presentable, clear with communication and punctual. The quality of work deserves five stars. The marks left on the wall were virtually undetectable and I was able to pass my inspection without penalty with my bond. Would recommend to anyone needing to plaster and paint their walls in a timely and efficient manner.

Great job well done !!!!!

Hi air-taskers, this assignment involves a variety of handyman things. I recently moved from interstate so boxes everywhere and furniture I can’t lift on my own. It’s a ground floor apartment with a small courtyard. I would really like this to be done on Saturday 14th or if need be Sunday 15th Sept. Would suit a person that is able-bodied for the lifting tasks and wouldn’t mind (if asked) to suggest alternatives to furniture placement / courtyard cat-proofing. Tasks I need help with (* denotes priority over others) : 1. *Get large floor rug into place (involves moving furniture) 2. * Re-install / wire up my AV 7.1 receiver and speakers, including cabling to speakers (which involves moving furniture) 3. * help me get my courtyard secured so my two male cats can’t escape (I have all the materials, just need a second person to hold stuff). 4. Help me Re-arrange and move a few pieces of furniture + re-assemble glass dining table 5. Help assemble an Ikea tall boy for bedroom 7. Help to hang a few large prints on the walls 6. re-hang curtains that have just been washed (super easy to do) Lunch provided!

James was top notch te-installing my 5.1 surround system, he's tweaked it and it's never sounded so good! Lovely guy and felt v comfortable having him in my home. I Recommend him! Thanks James.

HANDYMAN FOR NUMEROUS TASKS

Toorak, VIC
13 Sep 2018
$200

I need a professional handyman/chippy to do the following work: ~ hang X 4 lightweight pictures (could be done with 3M in need) ~ hang X 1 mirror ~ hang X 1 painting ~ install broom rack in cupboard ~ cover up fireplace hole (material provided) ~ sand screen door bottom a little bit (not closing freely) ~ install X 4 pull knobs on cupboard doors ~ change over X 9 halogen downlights (globes provided) ~ repair old style screen door latch (provided) ~ lift mirror onto wall (hook already there) ~ move X 4 pot plants from upstairs to downstairs NOTE: all walls are solid brick with plaster covering, so you will need a high powered drill. The ceilings are high, so you will need to bring a step ladder. I have one but only takes 100kg and it's not very tall. I need the job completed either this Saturday 15th start at 8am or on Sunday 16th (anytime during the day) or Wednesday 19th at 8am. You will need to be clean & tidy on the job, have a professional approach with good references on Airtasker. I estimate job to take around 2 hours, possibly quicker. Thanks

Nick was great. I would highly recommend for any handyman work. Honest guy & completed all my jobs really well. Punctual, pleasant & tidy. I would definitely use again. A+
