I am looking for an experienced plasterer/ceiling repairer to fully reinstate a section of plasterboard ceiling following a water leak from the level above. The source of the leak has already been identified and repaired. This task is for the complete repair and reinstatement of the affected ceiling, as shown in the photos. Looking for someone to install a stainless steel wall shelf onto the brick wall pictured. Shelf, brackets and original mounting hardware/fixings are all supplied. I also have the installation instructions. It needs to be mounted securely and level on the front of the brick wall, underneath the TV, just below the power points. Please take appropriate care when drilling and ideally have a detector to check the area before drilling. Should be a fairly quick and straightforward job for someone with the correct masonry drill/tools and experience mounting into brick. Located in Prahran. Happy for you to use your own suitable masonry fixings instead of the supplied ones if you think they’ll provide a better/safer installation.

I need an internal door replaced (picture attached is of door that needs to be taken off). We have the replacement door and all the hardware can be transferred from the old to the new door. The new door may need to be planed down by a few millimetres on top and sides.

Looking for an experienced curtain/blind installer or handyman to install ceiling-mounted curtain tracks for sheer curtains in two rooms in my apartment: * 1 x bedroom – track to run across the sliding-door/window wall * 1 x upstairs living room – longer track across the main sliding-door/window area There are existing roller blinds, which will remain in place. The new tracks need to be installed in front of the blinds with enough clearance for full-height S-fold/wave sheer curtains. I’m renting, so I’m looking for someone who can install them neatly and securely with minimal drilling/damage and use the correct fixings for the ceiling type.

Hi there, The top hinge on one of my internal doors has come loose because the screws have stripped out of the frame. The door is currently sagging and won't latch properly. To save us both some questions, here are a few quick details: Door Type: Standard internal hollow/solid core wooden door with a standard metal hinge. The Issue: The screw holes in the jamb are maybe stripped or come out, so it likely needs longer screws, wood plugs/dowels, or wood filler so the screws can bite again. I'm not 100% on issue but video below. Tools/Materials: I don't have the specific longer screws or wood filler on hand, so you'll need to bring your own standard toolkit and fixings. I'm not handy. Access: Easy parking available right out front, with permit, ground level. Please let me know your availability to pop by and knock this out. Thanks!
