Hi! I'm looking for someone handy to install a clean, proper curtain setup on one bedroom window. Current situation: - The old curtain is torn and hangs on two small black knob brackets screwed inside the window frame. It doesn't cover the window properly and lets light in on the sides. - There are a few old screw holes on the frame that could be filled/tidied up. What I already have: - New blackout curtain with a rod pocket (gathered top, taupe/grey) - Matte black curtain rod bracket(s) for a 25mm rod (Sandleford BFC25) What I'd like: - Rod mounted a bit higher and wider than the window frame (probably need to drill further out) so the curtain fully covers the window and blocks the light - Neat, straight, solid install - Remove the old brackets and patch the holes if possible You're welcome to bring your own materials if you think they'd work better: your own rod, brackets, curtains or anything else. Just include them in your offer. I don't have to use what I already have. I'm open to ideas! If you know a better or simpler way to get a clean result, please suggest it in your offer. I had 2 partition walls removed. One abutted the wall and it needs plastering and patching, the other was cut halfway and needs finishing and tidying up. I’ll attach photos. The paint job doesn’t need to be perfect, just close enough. I’d like it to be smooth so that when it’s all redecorated in future it isn’t visible.

Looking for someone to install/fix a roller blind bracket securely to the wall. I already have the roller blind and all the required parts/brackets, I just need someone with the right tools to drill and fix the bracket to the wall properly. The blind itself then just slots into the bracket. The current bracket (pictured; in black), is broken. Should be a quick, straightforward job for someone skilled at general wall mounting.

Looking for a handy person to repair a pull-down wardrobe garment lift mechanism. The hydraulic pull-down mechanic itself still functions completely fine, but the plastic side mounting pieces/brackets that hold it to the wardrobe wall have cracked under the weight. What needs to be done: Assess the cracked plastic side mounts. Securely reinforce, glue, or bracket the cracked plastic housing so it can safely hold weight again when the rail is pulled down. Please bring tools and any general heavy-duty reinforcing materials (epoxy, metal brackets, or heavy washers). I am happy to pay extra for materials if a specific part needs to be purchased.
