We have a sliding door setup with recessed blinds already installed in a ceiling cavity, but we want to add curtains in front of them. The setup is a bit unusual and I don't want to go through a blind company for a full custom solution. Looking for someone who knows their way around a tricky curtain install and can advise on the right approach. What I need from you: come and have a look, tell me what's feasible, recommend the track or rod type and fixing method that works with the existing recess and door frame, and quote on supply and install. I have a rough idea of the look I'm after (a simple, sheer fabric or similar just to add a layer other than the heavy roll down blinds which are completely blockout) but I'm open to guidance on what will actually work given the constraints. Photos attached but honestly it warrants a site visit or video call before quoting the project. Need a handyman to caulk some floors that we had repaired. Roughly 10 linear metres. You will need to match the colours so factor checking the job first Bunnings is just down the street. I’m happy to pay for the caulk but you will need your own gun. Also need help moving a couple of furniture items back into place. I can help with that so one person will be fine, it’s just a couple of furniture items, one of which is pretty heavy. It’s an asap job, any time before Wednesday

I have three doors around my house that don't close well. 1) Garage pedestrian door (aluminium door and frame). I think the door or frame has expanded in the heat and its striking against the top of the frame. Its almost impossible to open and close. 2) Bedroom door (wood door and frame). I think due to movement of the older house on stumps, the door now contacts the frame on the lower edge (see pictures) and its difficult to close. 3) Bathroom door - the door opens and closes but the latch doesn't stay in position and the door will not stay closed, nor can it be locked.

One honeycomb blind to be installed in a bedroom

We need a decent handy person to install 2 eye screws into the joists in our ceiling for a swing / trapeze for our kids. It should be a pretty quick job but we want it done right so it doesn't fall down while the kids are on it. The ceiling is suspended on batons attached to the joists which are about 65mm above the plaster ceiling so a stud finder won't work but you can get a view of the joist from through the light fitting. Hi, I require an urgent all rounder for the following: 1) Shower base - Shower base requires re-grouting Bathroom has no ventilation & requires high grade moisture resistant materials & workmanship. 2) Change light fitting - Source & refit oyster light fitting to match (refer to photo’s) brand name unknown, but component size is approx 27cm diameter adjunct on ceiling, cover is approx 26cm. This must match another in that room but If exact match isn't possible, then remove the same from bedroom & attach in lounge & supply another, style & light quality TBC. Hello! This will be a 3 to 4 minute job, literally... I need a handyman to drill one hole in a plastered brick wall, where I will then insert a plastic inner screw tube, and then the screw/hook that I also have. You will need to bring your own drill and drill bit.
