I’m looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to rehang an internal door so it opens the opposite way (currently right-hand open, needs to be changed to left-hand open). Scope of work: Rehang existing solid door Re Install / make good 3 hinges so it works with new opening side Recess hinges neatly into the door frame and door Recess and install the door latch/lock into the new position in frame ( reuse pre existing hole on th edoor) Ensure door is aligned, swings smoothly, and closes properly Notes: Door is solid (heavier than standard) We will organise patching/filling of old hinge and latch holes, as well as painting Looking for a clean, professional finish on the carpentry work Please bring your own tools and experience working with door installs is essential. Second job requires removing an area of hard plaster and installing blue board (aqua check) patch, then plastering the patched area, in readiness for painting (finished work needs to be paint ready).

I have 2 hardwood doors that I need cut to size and mounted. One of the doors needs to be cut wider at the top than at the bottom due to the uneven doorway. This door needs to be fitted with a simple latch whereas another door needs to have a lock installed. There is a third door that I also need to be trimmed (already have marked the door for trimming). I will assist you to hang the doors as they are heavy, hardwood doors.

A door handle needs fixing, the latch mechanism is not working. There is also a broken cupboard hinge that needs replacing.
