Find an experienced handyman in Northcote

I recently brought my cat to live with me in a rental share house. He needs to be able to come and go from my room at night, but I don't want to sleep with my bedroom door open. I have purchased a second-hand door, and a cat flap. The new door is exactly same size as my current bedroom door (standard 820 x 2040 x 35mm, hollow in the middle). The handles are at the same height. I'd like to have a cat flap installed into the new door, have my current bedroom door removed for safe storage, and have the new door installed into the frame.

Please help me put the roller chain back on and make my roller blind work again. I have an old disconnected chain (broken) and also bought a new chain (fully connected), so you can use whatever you need to make it work again

I have three windows which I need roller blinds shortened and the blind as well and 3 curtains to fit the new windows

Looking for a handyman to correctly re-install the external venting for my Electrolux dryer (EDV605H3WB). Unfortunately a previous Airtasker did the work incorrectly and the dryer vent was not reaching the outside. All materials are supplied. The job involves: • Fitting the rear venting kit to the dryer • Running the duct hose through the existing window opening (glass already cut, but sealant poorly applied -- see photos) • Mounting the external vent on the outside of the window • Checking the dryer wall mount is secure and level -- it’s mounted on brick, and seems to not be at the right angle, so I'm not confident the previous installation was done correctly. I will be home to help take down the dryer etc, so I think one person should be enough, but please specify in your reply if you would have two people attending etc. Access and equipment required: • External vent is at the rear of the building, approx. 6--7 metres off the ground, so ladder would be required. I have 2 odd jobs at home - 1 is that my kitchen door frame appears to have swollen and now the door jams/doesn’t close properly. Door frame has partially come away (approximately from the bottom up to the middle of the frame). In addition, the fly screen door closer pump has been ripped out of the door frame, including the screws. The door frame may require repair or reinforcement so the door closer pump can be securely reinstalled. Once repairs are complete, the closer pump needs to be refitted correctly. Any areas affected by the repair will need to be patched and repainted where necessary. Paint can be provided. All other materials required (screws, fixings, bog, patch filler, etc) must be supplied

Looking for a handyman for odd jobs in Northcote VIC. I want to talk to self employed handyman or small reliable team. Most work easy to conduct solo. I do same in Sydney. Touch base with me if your a flexible handyman allrounder. Typical work i have experienced include installation of medical curtain rails, changing taps, mounting glove and height measure tapes and disposing of old furniture. Must be flexible and reliable. Maybe start by telling me about you? This is a sort of audition interview task.

The door handle is not controlling the latch anymore. You can turn the handle, but it doesn't move the latch.

Need two blinds removed and two new dual ones installed.
