I'm looking for somebody to install and Ikea VIDGA curtain rail above my window. I've tried and I give up. There seems to be a steel 'lintel' above the window and either side there is bricks behind the plaster. I will also need you to remove a screw I have manage to get stuck half in / half out and now can't remove - the top is starting to strip. I can provide: - The brackets / rail, IKEA Vidga - Screws (8G x 40mm Buildex Metal Screws with Teks Tip + 10g x 45mm Masonary Screws) - Drill bits - Ladder - Drill Or you are welcome to bring your own tools if you prefer! I have 5 of 2.8m high curtains (5 windows) that I had to take down for painting. I just need someone to hang them up again. It would need to be done using a ladder. There are about 30 plastic clips per curtain that clip into the curtain rail. There is no installation of any hardware needed. Just to clip the curtains back in... Like the grey curtain in the attached photo , 5 of them.

I ordered venetian blinds online, with the intention of installing them myself. I’ve only been successful at installing one blind, because I cannot drill into the window recess far enough for the screws. I have a handheld hammer drill, but it’s not powerful enough. Rather than buy another appliance, I’d prefer to hire a professional who can handle the rest of the job. There are 4 windows left. The building is a 70s apartment with brick & concrete veneer walls. The blinds are secured by a metal bracket on each end (I have plenty of masonry screws). One is a double blind and it will need to be secured in the middle too.

Hi, I have 13x roller blinds to install at a property in Northcote. The blinds vary in size… some are very small I.e 40cms wide and others are quite large and over a meter wide.
