Fix broken curtain track - cord broken, some fittings damaged
$100
Richmond VIC 3121, Australia
26th Aug 2026
The cord has broken, but the real problem is that the master carrier (the metal fitting at the far end of the track) is damaged and two of the brackets that should be holding the track in place have detached.
The job was a bit tricky, but Bashar sorted things out.

Install curtain rods

Looking for someone to do the following: • Remove an existing ceiling-mounted curtain rod from one window • Install IKEA RACKA/HUGAD/BETYDLIG double curtain rods above 3 x windows (2670mm, 1800mm and 890mm wide) • Ideally I would like them mounted to the wall but space restrictions might mean they need to be mounted from the ceiling - please be prepared for either possibility I have all the parts for the rods/brackets. You will need to: • Have experience doing this kind of work • Provide all tools • Provide screws for attaching the brackets to either the wall (concrete/brick) or ceiling (plasterboard) Looking to get this done ASAP but flexible with date/time.

Install curtain onto ceiling in hallway
$60
Richmond VIC 3121, Australia
16th Mar 2025
Looking for a tasker to install a curtain to the roof in the hallway of my apartment. The ceilings are approximately 2.4m high, I have a sturdy three step ladder with a top step height of 75cm for you to use (see pictures). The curtain ‘rod’ I have purchased is from Ikea, this style: https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/vidga-single-track-set-white-s89428230/ Note: The rod needs to be cut to size as it is longer than the width of the hallway. Ikea website says ‘can be easily cut to desired size’. The curtain itself is the following: https://www.freedom.com.au/product/24517492 180cm width x 250cm height I would like the curtain to be installed just behind the front door as indicated by the blue line in the photo. The front door should still function normally as the curtain would be pulled completely to the right and fit behind the front door when opened. Let me know if you’re interested and have any further questions. Thanks!
