We need a pet door to attach to our existing patio sliding door. It needs to lock and not cause damage to existing door. It needs to let in and out a small 8kg sausage dog. Not a cheap bunnings one.

Seeking someone with experience in pet door installation and the right tools to install a Petsafe Staywell Large Cat door (200 series). Some tailoring required as the door has two thicknesses due to cut-out/recessed detail. Door is 4cm at thickest along the bottom, and 2cm in the recessed area. Will need drill and jig or keyhole saw. The door panel where the flap is to be installed also is fixed, so it can't be removed and will need to be cut standing/vertical. The flap comes with screws and manual for installation. It is supposed to have a mechanism that locks into the glass sliding door so I am able to lock my back door as normal. Would love to have this done as soon as possible so my little pup can take himself outside as he is already basically toilet trained.
