Hi! I'm looking for someone handy to install a clean, proper curtain setup on one bedroom window. Current situation: - The old curtain is torn and hangs on two small black knob brackets screwed inside the window frame. It doesn't cover the window properly and lets light in on the sides. - There are a few old screw holes on the frame that could be filled/tidied up. What I already have: - New blackout curtain with a rod pocket (gathered top, taupe/grey) - Matte black curtain rod bracket(s) for a 25mm rod (Sandleford BFC25) What I'd like: - Rod mounted a bit higher and wider than the window frame (probably need to drill further out) so the curtain fully covers the window and blocks the light - Neat, straight, solid install - Remove the old brackets and patch the holes if possible You're welcome to bring your own materials if you think they'd work better: your own rod, brackets, curtains or anything else. Just include them in your offer. I don't have to use what I already have. I'm open to ideas! If you know a better or simpler way to get a clean result, please suggest it in your offer. Please bring your own drill, bits and wall plugs.

Hello! I am just a girl trying to have a nice meditation room but it's proving to be difficult :( I had the rods up but it may have been too heavy as it came off the wall. I tried to fix it but i am afraid i have made it worse so i am looking for proper help now hahaha It's a concrete wall, it will take someone who knows what they are doing very little time to fix it. i am not that someone. I also may have put the wrong plastic screwy plug thing in when I was trying to fix it and now it's stuck in there! SEND HELP!!!

We have three curtain rods that need to be screwed into the wall. ? Might be brick. Currently have timber screws available however can get brick/ concrete screws if needed. Below is the example of the curtain rod we have done (from our IKEA), then one of the windows we need completed.

I need 4 curtain rods installed on standard windows, pictures below illustrate the windows (and apartment floor plan) — 4 sets of windows, 3 bedrooms, one sitting room, all windows the same size. The walls are brick. I have all the fittings, appropriate masonry screws, plastic plugs and drill bit. Each rod has 3 mountings (see photos below) that each require 2 screws into the brick. I got the brackets I’m open to either: Drilling into the wall/window frame Or a no-drill solution if you know one that’s sturdy You’ll need to bring your own tools and materials (like wall plugs, brackets, etc., if needed). It will require a hammer drill as its concrete. Its 3 brackets that need to be drilled in probably 2 screws per bracket.
