I'm looking for an experienced deck restorer to sand back and re-finish the hardwood decking at my home in Coburg.Photos attached. There are three areas: 1. Front verandah: L-shaped deck wrapping around the front of the house. The boards and the timber fascia/edge boards have patchy, peeling old stain. 2. Backyard spa deck: raised deck around a spa, with pergola posts. The spa stays in place, so the work will need to go around it. 3. Main rear deck: large deck plus a smaller raised landing. The old coating is heavily worn and patchy, especially in sun-exposed areas. Part of it is under a covered alfresco area. I’ll clear the pot plants and furniture before starting.

Looking for someone to complete some ceiling prep work before an electrician installs a new pendant light. Work required: Relocate the existing ceiling vent slightly to the side, away from the pendant location. Install a solid timber support/noggin between the ceiling joists above the pendant location to provide adequate support for the pendant. Install a new ceiling rose at the pendant location (ceiling rose supplied by me). Patch/plaster the ceiling where required, including the existing damaged area and any areas affected by moving the vent. Leave everything neat and ready for sanding/painting. The pendant and old ceiling rose have already been removed (see photo). Electrical work and installation of the pendant will be completed separately by my electrician.

*open to offers* Urgent: Experienced Handyman Needed to Rehang Heavy Sliding Bedroom Door I have a large, heavy internal sliding door that was removed from its track and now needs to be put back into place. The door and existing sliding mechanism are all there and were working correctly before it was removed. The job is essentially to correctly re-engage/rehang the door onto the existing track and make sure it is sliding properly again. Friends have attempted to put it back but, due to the weight of the door and the mechanism, I need someone who has actual experience installing or repairing large sliding doors. The door is quite heavy, so you may need a second person to assist with lifting it into position. This is urgent and must be completed by Monday at 3pm at the latest. There is an existing double power point approximately a few metres away near the marble shelf, which I’d like the new outlet to potentially be supplied from.
