Waterproof plaster under bath. There had been a hole created by plumbers and I want to take off peel and stick tiles and to cover this area. EDITED TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: (1) There are tiles there that I don't want to take off, just plaster over and there is a hole that a plumber had created (needlessly). (2) to make it cohesive I would like peel and stick tiles to be taken off and for the area to be covered with waterproof plaster and ceiling (3) I want it painted over so it looks complete.

Following recent complaint from neighbouring Unit about damp wall had Plumber investigate. Report indicates "Spray tested shower cubicle and found immediate water escaping through grout lines. • Used thermal imaging and confirmed water tracking from shower area, likely beneath tiles, contributing to water ingress into neighbouring property." Think shower walls and base need grouting and waterproofing then rebuild of shower including tiles and walls and probably new shower screen. We think physical inspection needed to provide accurate quote.

I’m looking for a qualified and experienced waterproofing contractor to help resolve a waterproofing issue in the bathroom of my apartment in Abbotsford. The job apparently involves accessing and resealing a slab penetration beneath the laundry trough and performing key remediation works, but would appreciate an assessment to identify the most minimally invasive solution. Scope of Work: - Disconnect the laundry trough waste pipe - Remove the base of the trough to access the concrete slab penetration - Apply waterproofing to all exposed openings under the trough and any areas where tiles may be missing. - Conduct a secondary flood test to confirm the waterproofing integrity - Remove hair and debris from the shower drain. - Reconnect and reinstate the laundry trough pipework to original condition.
