I need an experienced carpenter or builder to inspect my back verandah and quote on repairs. There is significant water damage and rot to timber around a verandah post and handrail. More importantly, the timber beam directly under the gutter is rotting and appears to be pulling away, which may be affecting the stability of the verandah roof. I’d like the job to include: * inspection of the beam, post and roof structure * assessment of how much timber needs replacing * checking the guttering/flashing for the source of the water damage * a quote for making the structure sound and weatherproof Photos attached.

I'm looking for an experienced deck restorer to sand back and re-finish the hardwood decking at my home in Coburg.Photos attached. There are three areas: 1. Front verandah: L-shaped deck wrapping around the front of the house. The boards and the timber fascia/edge boards have patchy, peeling old stain. 2. Backyard spa deck: raised deck around a spa, with pergola posts. The spa stays in place, so the work will need to go around it. 3. Main rear deck: large deck plus a smaller raised landing. The old coating is heavily worn and patchy, especially in sun-exposed areas. Part of it is under a covered alfresco area. I’ll clear the pot plants and furniture before starting.

I have a narrow walkway at the side of my house I want to put a low verandah (no higher than fence which is 2400mm) over so I can put the bins, storage shelves under. My house is double bricked, ideally I'd like it to be drained into a raised garden bed beside it. I'd like it as low as the fence line so it cant be seen

Need someone experienced with concrete cutting to remove a small segment of concrete from my back verandah to make a straight edge. The concrete is 70mm thick and the segment is about 25cm wide and 130cm long. Need a neat straight cut to make it even with the line of the remaining slab. Need to supply own tools and remove if possible, otherwise cut up into a few smaller chunks so I can take care of it. Would love it gone on Monday, but am flexible. Prefer after 3pm tues-thurs or anytime Monday or Friday or weekend.

I require a registered draftsperson to draw up existing conditions and overlay plans for a new steel garage and verandah I'm getting built in the MVCC area in Vic. I require these drawings for obtaining a building permit approval from a surveyor. I have scaled site plans and engineering plans for both the garage and verandah.
