Find an experienced handyman in Sydney

Have a hinge on an aluminium door that's loose because the previous repair used rivets that have popped out. I want someone to move the hinge down a few cms and use a heavy gauge screw to secure it properly. I also want to install a 3rd hinge on the door as a longer term solution. Hinge supplied. You will need to supply the screws.

Toilet door in our office is broken, the mechanism at the top which opens and closes the door is leaking oil and the door is slamming shut rather than closing slowly.

We had some idiot try and break into our garage last night. They’ve tried to cut the metal frame on the roller door so they can reach around to the door handle. Thankfully they didn’t get very far. Looking for someone to supply and install some sheet metal across the roller door (on 2 panels) to prevent this from happening again.

I already have the new seat purchased, so the task involves: • Removing the old toilet seat (it seems to be sealed with silicone). • Installing the new seat properly. The toilet is standard size. Ideally, the person should have experience with this type of task and bring basic tools (cutter, screwdriver, etc.) if needed. We have parking!

Replace kitchen drawer runners with brackets

We have an aluminium frame on one of our doors that appears to be loose. As a result, the door is rubbing against the frame and doesn't close smoothly. We’re looking for someone experienced in door and frame repairs who can inspect the issue, realign or tighten the frame if necessary, and ensure the door opens and closes properly without resistance.

Kitchen sink blocked all of a sudden

Hey there, My shower screen door is just slightly overlapping at the top. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t , the screen is in perfect condition just needs a proper tightening. Would do it myself but don’t have the tools. Cheers.

My blinds have broken - the cord has been ripped out of the top of the blind as it got caught on the window

Took the fridge side panel off in my apartment to fit my fridge. Now moving and struggling to get it back in. The top of the panel is not fitting into the top plaster (first picture). Have all screws that I took out. Will need some type of sealant. Made a crack in the trim so that will need to be covered. Thanks!

The drawers in my built in wardrobe are broken. The tracks may need fixing too. I believe the issue is that we wardrobe frame has widened/slipped somehow causing them to slip out

- Install 1 small floating shelf next to my bed (to be used as a bedside table) - install 1 medium floating shelf in kitchen at a higher height (not on tiles, on the normal wall) - install 4-6 heavy art frames to wall in my lounge and bedroom - instal 4 light art frames to wall in staircase area Tools needed: Wall Plugs/Anchors, screws (some are included with the floatings shelves but I'm not sure on the quality?) drill, stud finder, leveler, hammer etc. The wall is not hollow. I can do Wednesday from 2pm or Thursday 10am-2pm.

Hang a new roller blind.

My curtain road bracket - previously affixed using drywall anchors - has fallen off the wall. One of the anchors has pulled some drywall off, creating a bigger hole. Ideally - I'd want the curtain bracket screwed into a stud/header/brick rather than just anchored to drywall. However, I don't know what's behind the drywall. As seen in the photo, there is some sort of perforated metal sheet just above the window, and additionally another metal sheet towards the top of the wall. This doesnt leave enough room to use a toggle bolt anchor. There is 19cm of space behind the drywall until you hit another structure (see chopstick photos) The holes might need to be patched and the bracket position moved elsewhere.
