I would like 2 x AC ceiling fans replaced in the bedrooms. I can order 2 x DC ceiling fans. I would like the existing wall switch to remain. I don’t want a remote. Let me also know if this DC fan is not compatible with the existing wall switch.

The 2 shelves have 5 screw holes and come with screws and plugs. The splashback is a thin sheet of metal with a thick plaster board recessed 2mm behind the splash back and then another fibreboard recessed 2 mm behind the plasterboard. One of the shelves needs to cover over the opening of an electrical switch that if possible be relocated 5-10 cm below it’s current position. Not sure how to secure the fixings in to the splash back - may need liquid nails as well to secure shelf?
