I’ve done three coats on ceiling in my apartment. I’m not fast enough by myself to not get lap marks. Even tried rolling to light source, across light source etc. need a pro to come finish the job. Looking for a professional painter to fix up and refine one long side wall in our open-plan kitchen/living area. We attempted to DIY paint it using a light blue colour called "Billie blue", but because we aren’t pros, the finish has dried unevenly. We have applied a maximum of 2 coats so far, but you can still see white patches of the underlying primer showing through, along with flashing/patchy areas (as shown in the attached pictures).
