I bought this table lamp in Japan but seems like that needs the socket replaced from 100V to 240V and a new Australian plug fitted.

My table lamp has stopped working. I believe it is the wiring, as it used to work when the cord was at a certain angle. Flexible on time and happy to drop it off (if close to Marrickville) to minimise cost. Thanks!

The table lamp shown in the photos has stopped working, and I’m not sure what the cause is. You can see the brand name in the pictures. It is controlled by a small rotary dial that adjusts both the power and the brightness. I am looking for an experienced electrician or handyman to troubleshoot and fix it.
