Hi, I need a handyman to do two tasks: - repair (or replace?) the door frame on the external screen/security door. It has splintered where it attaches to the frame - see attached pics. - hang a ‘timber line’ floating shelf - 1.2m in length, in kitchen. Part of the frame that supports the leg of our couch snapped off when we were moving the couch. We have the leg bolt and screw. The repair should simply involve attaching a chock of wood to the frame and drilling a hole in it for the bolt.

Install cornice to match with existing cornice plaster. I’ve found the matching cornice strip online, but I need advice on whether to replace the hole strip or just fill in the gap. I have a house inspection for my rental on the 20/08 so I need to fix a couple things in my backyard before then. A fire pit was on the concrete for a long period of time with not enough protection underneath, leaving a large burn mark and the clothes line is wonky, I believe something in the hinge is broken, see pictures attached.
