Staircase Handrail Safety We would like the entrance staircase handrails assessed. There are gaps between the railings that we're concerned could pose a safety risk for small children or pets. We'd like recommendations to install a suitable barrier, mesh, or another safe solution that complements the existing handrails. Please bring your own tools :)

I have a Dahon Eco folding bike that needs a standard service (check/tighten bolts, brakes, tune gears, degrease + clean + lube parts) plus installation of rear rack. Also, the latch on the main folding hinge is broken and needs to be replaced (I have the parts).
