A previous plumber sent us the following text about that needs to be done: The strainer waste needs a new washer on the underside of the sink, also the threaded connector from the adjustable P trap to the waste is either stripped or the wrong size not allowing it to be screwed up to be water tight. Basically I'd recommend getting a new sink waste and if the thread on the p trap Is buggered getting a new trap that fits. Most kitchen waste pipework is 40mm so you'll need a 1 1/2, Waste kit and a 40mm - 1/2 adjustable P trap. - Due date: Before Sunday, 9 July 2023
