The grout on the shower floor has cracked, and a plumber has advised that the waterproofing membrane underneath may not have been installed properly, causing water to seep through. The Issue: The toilet is unable to flush away heavy solids without manual plunging. We are also noticing small drain flies near the front and back toilets, indicating potential sludge accumulation or venting issues in the line. Requirements: Must be a licensed plumber with proper drain clearing tools (plumbing auger / drain eel). Ideally has a CCTV drain camera and hydro-jetter on hand if a deeper main line blockage or root intrusion is found (please specify in your offer if you carry this equipment and if there are additional fees for using it). There are 2 jobs. (1) just returned from extended vacation and find that 1 of the upstairs does not fill after being flushed. Seems there is no water reaching the tank. 2) the upstairs bath & the shower have a leak in an elbow joint and needs to be replaced. The elbow joint sits above the entrance hall ceiling and can be accessed from there. That means the ceiling will have to be cut and restored..
