I’ve got a leak coming from the drain pipe directly underneath my bathroom sink. The issue appears to be caused by the sink waste/grate above being pushed down (sunken into the basin), which has loosened the connection underneath. Since this happened, the pipe joint below is no longer sealing properly and is leaking when water runs. What I can see:     •    The sink grate/waste fitting has dropped lower than it should sit in the basin     •    The seal around the waste looks worn or broken     •    The threaded pipe connection underneath is no longer tight/sealed     •    Water leaks from the joint when the sink is used What I need done:     •    Remove and properly reseat or replace the sink waste fitting     •    Install a new seal (and plumber’s putty/silicone as needed)     •    Reconnect and tighten the pipework underneath     •    Ensure everything is watertight and aligned correctly     •    Check for any damage to surrounding fittings Additional notes:     •    Standard bathroom sink with plastic (PVC) trap/pipe     •    Easy access under the sink     •    Looking for a proper, long-term fix (not just tightening temporarily)

Need to waterproof small shower floor area, have had leaks

I need someone to remove and dispose of a small wall-mounted instantaneous gas hot water unit. Details: • Unit is already decommissioned and disconnected from gas and water. • It is only mounted to the wall and needs to be unbolted and taken away. • There is also a short flue pipe through the ceiling that should be removed with the unit. • Installers of the new system suggested the flue may contain asbestos, so they wouldn’t remove it. I cannot confirm this. • Looking for someone comfortable removing the unit and flue and disposing of it. Location: northcote Access: Easy access inside laundry.

As basic of a repair or path over fix of shower tiling issue - just need to patch it up to last 6-12 months (tiles or other patch over the top material required for the job). Added bonus if you can also assess a separate toilet cistern issue.

The toilet has a leak from behind. Not sure if it’s the cistern, tap or seal in the pipe. It drips intermittently and pools. The toilet functions fine.

Need help removing and disposing of old washing machine from laundry, and our new one put in its place. There are a couple steps up to the door but we’ve done it before with a dolly, and I can help out if need be. Would be great ASAP but flexible on date. We do need the old washing machine to be taken away and disposed of.

Hi, I need a plumber or apprentice to modify my laundry taps. They currently stick out from a tiled wall and stop my washer/dryer stack from fitting. I’m looking to either recess them, move them, or replace them with compact mini‑cocks, whatever is easier and looks best. Recently had a water leak from a wall mounted Daikan spilt air conditioner. I have had an inspection of it by a technician who flushed drain line and cleared out from both ends including condensate tray, found water leak issue unresolved due to integrity issue with drain line running internally in wall space. The task is to upgrade the condensate drain line running internally in the wall space, draining into the bathroom (pictured). Will need to cut out plaster at key points to allow access to upgrade drain line, so will need plaster replaced after repair.

I have a toilet that is constantly running water. I’m pretty sure the fill valve needs to be replaced. I tried changing the fill valve myself, but the I can’t remove the current one because it turns with the coupling nut. I need you to remove the current fill valve (show me how you do it so I can try myself next time) and install the new one. I have the replacement fill valve. Must be next week between 8th - 12th December.
