I need to raise a waste water pipe outside my laundry and then cap it (as an access/inspection point). I have an outdoor waste water pipe (pretty sure it is 100mm but not certain) connected to my laundry. Above the runoff point from the laundry into the pipe, the pipe extends upwards and has a spigot adapter (150mm width at the top) with a grate on top for inspection of the pipe. See images. I found the pipe buried under some turf while digging a trench - it is concerning as soil was dropping into the pipe through the grate. I am converting the area into a stepping stone path, so my plan is to raise the pipe above compacted road base that I’m going to lay and then cap the pipe to maintain access. I don’t know exactly how high the pipe needs to be raised but it should be no more than 120mm (including the cap). Note that I’m very open to other ways to maintain access to the pipe if there are better ideas! I’m looking for quotes for the job. The shower fitting in my bathroom came off and I am unable to use the shower. It needs to be affixed back properly so it won't come off again.
