Hi. I am seeking an experienced plasterer/handyman to patch and paint 2 small ceiling holes in apartment ceiling (Port Melbourne). The holes are from previous electrical/light fittings and are relatively small (see photos attached). Looking for a neat professional finish that blends with the existing ceiling texture and paint. Job includes: patching plaster holes sanding/smoothing undercoating/sealing repaired areas painting repaired areas I can supply the ceiling top coat paint, however please provide any required patching materials/undercoat. Hello: I recently had new floor tiles installed in a small bathroom. Around the shower floor drain the tiles had to be hand cut to fit the waste. The finish around the drain and along a few grout lines is a bit rough/uneven (see photos). The installer advised that this was unavoidable due to the cuts required around the drain. Before accepting that, I’m hoping to get a second opinion and see whether the finish can be improved — for example through tidying the grout lines, re-grouting, or another solution. Ideally I’d like someone with tiling experience who can: • Assess whether the finish can be improved • Tidy up the grout lines around the drain if possible • Suggest any practical improvements The bathroom is otherwise fully finished, so I’m hoping for a targeted cosmetic improvement rather than major re-tiling. We have two sliding patio doors. Each door has an upper panel (200x160cm) and a lower panel (200x80cm). I was hoping the lower panel could have something more robust than the normal fibreglass mesh (have already purchased Duraview if that helps). Thanks Matthew.
