I need an old staircase, handrail and balustrade to be stripped of paint, taken back to original wood, sanded and refinished. If the original wood is in good shape, this will be finished and varnished. If not, it will be painted (colour to be supplied). There are FIVE floors of stairs, so not a quick job. See photos - the blue colour is what needs removing, taking back to original wood, sanded shaped and refinished. The blue risers also need stripping back and refinishing (likely white but paint will be supplied once an assessment of original wood can be completed). Chemical stripper only, no heat guns - this is likely to be lead paint and we are concerned about fire risk. Please only quote if you have experience doing this and carpentry skills to refinish wood, this is a listed building and requires era-appropriate solutions.

I have an ikea skadis pin board that I need help hanging on my wall. My boyfriend tried drilling holes in the wall to put screws to hang it and got one hole done but the other one the drill wont go through the wall so I really just need help drilling the other hole.

one vertical blind is stuck and won't move, looks like the first couple slats are blocking the move so a track replacement would be needed

I have two windows that are not closing correctly and are in need of maintenance.

Three internal doors in the flat no longer close properly and will likely need adjusting and possibly trimming. I also have one internal door that currently swings inward which I would like changed to swing outward into the corridor. There is an existing door frame that currently holds the door and prevents it opening outward, so the frame may need to be adjusted or partially moved to allow this. In total, this is work on four internal doors.

I have tenants in a flat that have just reported… I went to sit on bed about 10 mins ago - I didn’t jump, leap or apply any extra force than usual and the bed jolted down. The wooden bits are all still straight but the screw has bent and I haven’t been able to push it back in due to the angle. Sanja and I are tried to push it back in, but the angle of screw won’t allow it to be pushed in. The headboard has been wobbly since I moved in but as it wasn’t affecting anything I didn’t want to bother you about it. Additionally something I meant to mention when I first moved in is that the handle on my door that faces the hallway is wobbling around. The inner one is also a bit wobbly.

Internal door has already been taken off frame. Need collection to recycle.
