Reposting as have been let down twice by the guy I had lined up to do the job… Back in February the upstairs flat had a leaky sink tap which caused some minor damage to our bathroom ceiling below. It’s now fully dry and in need of redecorating. Have attached a photo of the damage initially and now that it’s dry. The biggest patch is above the bathroom window and there is also a small patch on the ceiling above the door. Just need these small sections making good again. FYI this is what the previous contractor had intended to do: “scrape and sand watermarks, fill if necessary and then stainblock the whole ceiling and once dry give the ceiling another full coat of Dulux easy care bathroom paint in white.” If you’d like to take a look before quoting our tenants can be available most evenings after 5:30pm. To change 17 G-10 halogen ceiling spotlight bulbs please. You will DEFINITELY NEED a tall A-frame ladder as the ceilings are quite high and so it's not just a case of leaning a regular ladder against a wall to do it. I have the bulbs ready to go. But can't be flexible on date I'm afraid. thanks :)

We had a wall that had a leak. The leak and wall are repaired, we just need someone who will come and decorate the area that is ruined. See the pics below. It isn’t a big area and it just needs to be painted - there is the wall, the ceiling and also the skirting is a little ruined so we need that to be painted. I do think you will need to sand slightly. We also have an upstairs where the curtain pole came off and we also need that to be sanded slightly and painted.

Looking to get our 5.6m x 2.48m kitchen painted - it’s just been newly renovated, so there is some light prep needed in some places such as priming/filling in holes/sanding (captured most of this in photos). From folks that have quoted already in person it’s a 2 day job (prime and prep first day and paint the next day). A lot of the walls are covered by cabinetry already. I will buy the paint for walls and skirting boards. Please include any prep materials and a trade white paint for the ceiling in the pricing since I don’t have that at hand.

Some years ago a bottle of oil fell out of a cupboard and smashed and oil went across a section of wall in the kitchen. I tried to get the oil out but ended up taking off the paint and so I decided to leave it. It is not hugely noticeable but I am now renting my flat out and so would like to get it looking a bit better. It is not a big area affected say a few splatter marks that from afar look like small shadows across a c.60cm by 40cm. I don’t know if paint will be able to cover it up as it is oil so may seep through but perhaps tidying it up may help.

I love the process and now it’s time to sand my bedroom, but I would like some support while I do this because as it’s a fairly small room, I can’t take my bed or my wardrobe out of the room while sanding so it would be helpful to have someone who can help me maneuver around this and move it with me. Also help me to prepare the floor, take out carpet nails and perhaps while one of us sand the main floor boards, the other can do the edges. I like to do this as a team effort and I reckon it will be a few hours. maybe 3 to 4 hours I don’t have a massive budget but if you can work with my budget, I would love to do this together. I have hired the sander for Friday the 25th but I’m not sure what time I can pick it up, so I guess it will be sometime before lunchtime and maybe we can start after lunchtime. Look forward to this.
