- Interior painting - Painting your interior walls will give your space a fresh new look, help reduce cooking smells, control mould, and remove fingerprints and marks. Preparation starts with removing or covering furniture and putting down drop sheets, along with washing any wall surfaces. To paint walls and ceilings, your painter will start by cutting in with a small brush, before covering the remaining surfaces with a roller brush. They may apply 2-3 coats to create a smooth, even surface. Finally, your painter will clean up by washing out the brushes and rollers, folding up drop any cloths, and removing the tape from windows and outlets.
- Exterior painting - It’s important to maintain paintwork for your home’s exterior, not only for your home’s value and first impressions but because it’s constantly exposed to the elements. You’ll need to repaint weatherboards every few years, plus fences, gutters, window-sills, and doorways every 5-10 years to maintain a fresh look. Many painters are experienced in paint removal, too. Since paint stripping is generally a messy and time-consuming job, it’s a good idea to outsource it to a professional. Some common reasons for paint stripping include new colour for your interior doors, removing wood stain from kitchen cabinets so you can update the colour, or stripping cracked paint from a surface so it’s ready for repainting.Â

Looking for a painter/decorator for a small job in Dalston. As pictured, just the panel where the fireplace is situated needs painting, not the surrounding walls. Ideally asap but no fixed date that this needs to be done by. There was a soot mark on the wall which we had trouble clearing off, we then tried to paint it over with a beige colour which was different to the rest of the wall colour. So now my landlord would just like the one wall painted matt white, ideally the painter will have their own paint for this.

Painting a small 3-bedroom house

We need a painter starting next week to paint a small 3-bedroom house in two colours only (white for ceilings, door posts, doors, stair rail, window seals, skirting / off-white for all walls). Includes 3 bedrooms, entrance, hallway, living room and kitchen - Can paint over existing wall paper, wall paper in master bedroom may need to be removed first. We will provide paints. Cannot exceed £1000, please.

Paint interior walls 5 walls (stairs and landing). Landing is minimal as there are fitted cupboards and doors.
Eke arrived on time. He helped mix two colours together to get the right shade and took his time masking the doors and edges to get full coverage. We have very high internal walls and he managed to paint them neatly. One of my walls needed filling and sanding prior to painting and he had to cancel his next job to get the job done. The best part was he always had that smile and didn't try to rush through the job. I'll hire him again. 5 stars
