Job Details I recently replaced a gas hob with a Bosch Series 4 PIE631BB5E induction hob. An electrician installed a new 6mm cable and connected to the existing 32 A breaker that was already installed and correctly distributed before. The circuit was already in place as expected, and no other alterations were made. The worktop cut-out is ready, but the hob is not yet connected or mounted. I now require a qualified and Part P-registered electrician (NICEIC, NAPIT, ELECSA, or equivalent) to: Inspection & Verification Check that the connection from the consumer unit is safe and suitable for the hob. Confirm correct cable type, sizing, earthing, and protection (MCB/RCBO, RCD compliance). Verify the 3-core cable is suitable for this hob model and that no 5-wire connection is required. Check that the hob’s internal live terminals are correctly bridged for single-phase installation as per manufacturer instructions. Installation Position and secure the hob in the existing cut-out. Connect the hob safely to the supply. Testing & Certification Perform full safety tests: continuity, polarity, insulation resistance, and earth loop impedance. Issue a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (or Part P Building Regulations Compliance Certificate if applicable). Handyman / electrician needed in order to drill holes in kitchen unit and run extension lead from wall socket, through kitchen unit to space above fridge. Looking to minimise view of extension lead cord. Holes will need to be drilled in kitchen unit. 15mm - 20mm holes should be sufficient. I need my Zanussi freestanding electric cooker installed, it has no plug on it

We have a couple of electrical jobs that need doing in our home. 1) Bathroom extractor fan not working 2) Bedroom spotlight flickers when you turn it on.

The oven tripped the fusebox and then wouldn’t come back on. It was recently installed (hard wired) so we need to fix that. Presumably the fuse on the oven itself has blown. Would need to take the oven out of its slot. The other job is to replace a light fitting as the bulb and the thing that houses the bulb has come off so there are two wires only. Need to replace with a standard light fitting.

One of my rooms has 3 electric sockets. None of them are working. They need to be fixed. I assume the common electric connection to these 3 sockets need to be fixed
