The hinges have been painted over countless times and I'm having trouble getting a screwdriver in there to remove them. If someone is available to do this on Saturday morning, that would be great!

I have purchased a water filter https://bwtaustralia.com.au/product-items/bestmax-premium/ With this head unit, https://www.bwt-wam.com/en/products/connection-technology/bwt-besthead/ I’ve connected it with some push fit connectors to step down from 1/2” to 3/8” and back up, but I seem to be getting a leak here where the it steps back up to 1/2. The leak is not as bad as pictured in the photo. I added teflon tape which helps, but there is still a very small leak. I feel as though I’m pretty close, but also happy for someone to overhaul the plastic push fit for braided stainless steel and brass connections which might actually be a better fit.
