I’m seeking a licensed and insured waterproofer (Melbourne) to inspect existing bathroom waterproofing. 2 coats of waterproofing has already been applied and appears to be in good condition, however no compliance certificate was provided by the original contractor. If the waterproofing is generally sound, I’m looking for someone who would also be open to remediating the work if required (e.g. final coat / minor detailing) and then issuing a waterproofing compliance certificate. Scope of this task (inspection only): - Inspect the existing waterproofing membrane (shower + bathroom floor) - Assess whether it appears compliant - Advise whether the waterproofing is capable of being certified - Identify any remedial work (if required) to achieve certification Additional info: - 8 tiles have been glued down in non-critical areas only (where the toilet and laundry cabinetry will be) - No tiles have been glued down in the shower base - I’m happy for the tiles to be lifted if required for inspection Important: - This task is for inspection and advice only - No remediation or certification is expected as part of this task Requirements: - Licensed waterproofer in Victoria - Public liability insurance - Experience inspecting and remediating existing waterproofing Photos: In the attached photos, the majority of tiles on the floor are loose and can be removed to inspect the membrane. The water supply connector behind the toilet at home is leaking a little. I bought a water connector from Bunnings, but after installing it, it’s still leaking a bit. It might be an issue with how I installed it, so I need someone to help install it. It could also be the problem with the connector I bought—if there’s a more suitable, you could also bring it over and install it.
