Just moved into new apartment. There is a leak under the sink. I think the pipe running from the drain to under the sink just needs tightening/cleaned and silicone added, and the sink drain itself also needs tightening.

Shower is currently usable but requires repair before damage worsens. Required outcome --------------------- Identify the cause of the water ingress. Repair the shower to a professional standard. Replace or repair any damaged tiles, grout, adhesive, substrate and/or waterproofing as required. Ensure the shower is fully watertight and suitable for normal ongoing use. Note on price/effort ---------------------- I understand the full extent of the damage may not be known until the shower is opened up. My bathroom sink has the kind of plug you press to close and then press again to open/release. Unfortunately it often gets stuck in the closed position. To access the release mechanism you need to disconnect the plumbing under the sink and then put it back together.
