The hot water tank is leaking

Open crack in ceramic porcelain sink. Approx 8x5cm. Needs to be repaired to make sink usable. Does not need to be perfect, but functional afterwards. I’m open for a full sink replacement if repair too difficult.

When the water valve is fully open, the toilet works normally. But when the valve is partially turned off, water slowly leaks/drips continuously. I bought a brand new fridge with filtered water dispenser and ice maker. It’s a plumbed model so I need a licensed plumber to help connect it to the water supply. The kitchen sink and tap is on adjacent wall. Original plumbing kit from fridge is here but I would like a more durable metal (copper or stainless steel) piping option installed requiring either drilling to pass through the cabinetry or underneath.
