very small laundry nook is tiled & drained, but there is no lip to prevent water overflowing into the hallway. over time, door frame, doors, and hallway floorboards have become water affects / mould. We are seeking work to replace the water affected finishings, and for the floor to be adjusted to prevent future water loss into the hallway

I intend to connect a house extension roof drainage to the existing stormwater system at my property. I have previously been advised that the current system is more than adequate, so this is largely a confirmation / documentation exercise for the Building Surveyor in support of the building permit. The Surveyor has, however, requested formal confirmation that the existing system is legally connected and sufficient for the additional roof area, particularly in light of the Reg 51(2) information provided by Council. Can you please: Confirm pipe sizes, direction of flow and fall. Assess whether the system has sufficient capacity for the proposed additional roof catchment. Identify the proposed connection point for the extension. Mark all of the above clearly on a stormwater / drainage plan. Provide written confirmation that the existing system is adequate (or outline any upgrades required). I have the LPOD document from Council and completed extension plans, which I will provide to the successful bidder to support this assessment. In parallel, the successful bidder can also provide a separate quote for the full plumbing scope for the proposed extension, including two new bathrooms and associated fixtures and drainage.

Zip hydrotap is not dispensing cold water but the hot is working. Need assistance with diagnosing the issue so I can decide whether it’s worth fixing. Fixing the tap is not required.
