Find an experienced handyman in St Kilda East

We have a hole in the ceiling in the corner of our living room where a water leak was investigated. We need new plasterboard installed to close up the hole. (The alarm sensor has been deactivated and can be removed.)

Hi AirTaskers, we live in St Kilda East and want to get 2 sheds for the side of our house. Is there any difference in quality between EasySheds and Stratco sheds that you are aware of before we purchase? There is an existing concrete base but it appears to not be level. (Water run off?) Just after a quote to install the 2 sheds and if you can help with levelling the base if that is required? I have 2 sets of French internal doors that have really old mortises and hardware that I want to change to newer stuff (tradco and will place order once confirmed with tasker). I am looking for someone to fill in the mortise cuts (they were cut by previous owner using a drill so not uniform/clean) and make way for the new hardware to be fit. I’d also like them hung on the frames, another issue here is that the screws that were used on the hinges have broken off (I will take the blame for this part) so some expertise in fixing this is required

One of the drawers in my child’s dresser has come off its runner and won’t slide back in properly. It looks like there might be some minor damage to the track or the drawer itself. Will need drill.

Hi there, Looking for a handyman or plasterer to repair a damaged pillar corner in my rental property’s parking area. My sister accidentally scraped it with the car while parking. The render/plaster has come off in one spot and exposed the metal edging (see photo). Details: • Damage is on the corner of a concrete/rendered wall • Needs patching, corner repair, and repaint to match the existing wall • Located in St Kilda East • Flexible with timing but prefer a Wednesday

The roller blind chain has become loose and free so isn’t able to pull the bedroom blind (1 qty) up or down. Need someone to fix it. It seems to be an quick and easy fix. I lack the tools as well as the technique which is why I need someone who knows how-to to do it.

Please note that we are talking about an assembled hoop attached to a base so will have to dismantle part of it. - Disposal of waste is not required; only a prompt/professional installation so that the hoop is usable. - Also require for 4 bike hooks to be installed on the side of my house. All parts are held ready for installation. Not comfortable drilling into brick myself so require this also.

I have purchased an outdoor awning that needs to be installed over our rear deck - and also an outdoor roller blind over our kitchen window. Dimensions and install locations in the photos. The house is made of Hebel so I imagine it’s just a matter of ensuring the awning brackets are secured to the door/window framing. Thanks!
