Find an experienced handyman in Gardiner

Looking for someone experienced to help us install new cornice in our apartment in Glen Iris. We have approximately 35m of 80 x 80mm lightweight polymer cornice to install across the living/dining area, kitchen and laundry. The existing pelmets will already be removed before the job. There will also be 2 extra sets of hands available to help with holding the cornice, measuring, passing materials etc. We mainly need someone experienced to take the lead with measuring, cutting/mitres, joins and installation. We’ll supply the cornice and can purchase the required adhesive/filler based on your recommendation. Looking for someone who has previous experience installing lightweight polymer cornice or a similar product and can get the corners and joins looking neat. Please let me know your experience when making an offer. Photos of similar work would be great if you have them.

My B&D electric garage door is currently not opening properly. The motor and chain are running normally, but the door only opens about 10 cm and then stops. I’m looking for an experienced garage door technician to: * Diagnose and repair the problem * Check the springs, cables, tracks and door balance * Check the motor/limit settings if required * Supply and program one additional compatible B&D remote control The existing wall-mounted controller works, but I would like an additional handheld remote. Looking for a handy-person to install draught-proofing on our front timber door: Perimeter Seals: Install the supplied EcoMaster Draught Dodgers kit on the top and side door stops. Bottom Drop Seal: Remove the existing brass bottom strip on the exterior face and install a replacement Raven RP3 drop-down seal. Crucial: We have a eufy smart lock installed. Both seals must be adjusted so the door closes naturally and the motorized deadbolt locks freely without binding or requiring extra pushing force. The seals (replacement RP3 seal and perimeter kit) are already available on site. Please bring standard hand tools (hacksaw/timber saw, tape measure, drill/driver anything else useful).

Basic cat door intallation in standard timber exterior back door.

Move dryer from Glen Iris to Ashburton and then install dryer on wall above washing machine in laundry room. Collection requires moving down a set of stairs (shown in picture).

Get rid of wall-paper mould in the ceiling, and fix a hole in the ceiling. A large amount of the ceiling wall- paper had dropped; need to get rid of the rest.

Arbor has been destroyed by Jasmine that climbed up lattice, which is broken. The plants and the broken lattice, need to be removed. Prefer that you take it all to the tip. I will provide fresh lattice so require you to cut the sheets, as required, and screw them to fit the two sides and the roof of the arbor.
