Timber Door Installation – Needed Tomorrow I’m looking for someone experienced to install a timber door at the back of my house. I already have the new timber door ready to go. Measurements: * Existing door frame: 2040mm high x 820mm wide * New timber door: 1990mm high x 810mm wide * The new door is approximately 50mm shorter and 10mm narrower than the existing opening. The job involves: * Remove the existing door (can be removed with a screwdriver) * Install/hang the new timber door * Work out the best way to pack/frame the opening to accommodate the smaller door and make it secure and neat * Install suitable hinges * Install a door handle/lock * Make sure the door is level, opens/closes properly and latches securely * Advise me on exactly what hinges, handle/lock and any timber/packing materials I need to purchase I’m happy to purchase all required materials from Bunnings once I know what’s needed. I need this done tomorrow. Please only apply if you have experience installing/hanging timber doors and are confident making adjustments for the size difference. ISO plaster repairs and painting in affected areas for my one bed apartment in West Brunswick. In the lounge (first photo), we’ve got some cracking where the walls meets the ceiling and then a stepped down crack on the corner. The other three photos are of the bathroom, a few patches requiring some attention on the ceiling and a section on the wall. I’d be able to provide the paint pots. Keen to get a quote to tape and set all cracks and paint the affected walls (full wall) in the lounge and bathroom and painting full affected sections of the ceiling in the bathroom.
