I’m not looking for expensive window replacement or permanent renovations—just practical, cost-effective DIY or rental-friendly solutions such as improving the seals, adjusting the window fit, or other ideas to reduce traffic noise. If you’ve done similar work before, I’d love to hear what you’d recommend.

Two installation tasks: 1. Installation of wooden shelf with metal brackets onto a brick wall in my kitchen. 2. Installation of magnetic knife holder onto a tiled wall in my kitchen. An air conditioner used to be here but then it broke and was removed, turns out the broken air on would have looked better staying! Hello, I have a 1970s townhouse with 15 stairs I’m looking to have hybrid installed over (I have the hybrid and stainless steel nosing I am have cut to fit each stair. Looking for install including adhesive, caulking and potentially placing a shim under the lip of each stair to flatten it out.

ISO plaster repairs and painting in affected areas for my one bed apartment in West Brunswick. In the lounge (first photo), we’ve got some cracking where the walls meets the ceiling and then a stepped down crack on the corner. The other three photos are of the bathroom, a few patches requiring some attention on the ceiling and a section on the wall. I’d be able to provide the paint pots. Keen to get a quote to tape and set all cracks and paint the affected walls (full wall) in the lounge and bathroom and painting full affected sections of the ceiling in the bathroom.
