Hi, I’m looking for an experienced handyman or plasterer to inspect and repair a slight sagging section of my garage ceiling in Braybrook, VIC. The issue is not the garage door opener and not the cornice coming loose. The cornice is still attached. The problem appears to be that the ceiling sheet / plasterboard near the front edge of the garage has dropped slightly in the middle. I checked it by hand and the ceiling still feels firm, not soft or crumbling. However, I cannot access the ceiling cavity and I’m unable to confirm the timber framing position above.
