I would like to replace my kitchen mixer tap. I have already bought the mixer tap, and when replacing, I would also like you to install a new modern adaptation to the copper piping. If you can, i would appreciate what kind of adaptation I should buy before your arrival. I’m flexible with when to proceed.

My shower keeps switching between scalding hot and freezing cold… done a bit of research online, looks like it’s an issue with the Thermostatic Cartridge. Need to remove the cartridge and assess the situation, it might just need a descale. Just not really sure how. I’m guessing it’s not a huge job. If time and skills permit I’d also like to hand a couple of hooks on the wall, just not confident with a drill. Thanks.

i have a kitchen mixer tap that is dripping. the cartridges for both hot and cold water needs replacing and i have received the parts from the tap company. the cartridge is quite simple to replace and there's clear instructions on how to do it (just need to unscrew cap cover, use a wrench to remove old cartridge and refit new one). Water supply can easily be isolated (either underneath tap or mains supply which is within easy reach). this should take total 15-30 mins to do.

Current bath tap does not have a shower attachment. Have bought a new shower tap with a shower attachment. Needs to be swapped over. Can provide pictures if needed.

Leaking mixer taps about 4 years old. Could just be a tighten job but have replacement to fit ifs that.

Issue: Kitchen mixer tap leaking from the gap between the hot/cold handle. The water dribbles down the shaft when in use. No flooding, the tap is still usable for now, but needs dealing with. Thoughts:likely a cartridge replacement or issue with sealing. I'd rather not replace the whole tap, but you'll do a diagnosis first and we'll discuss. Hopefully, it's a short one-and-done job: There's a Screwfix and a Toolstation nearby. If after diagnosis, the right part is available, I can nip off and buy it. Or, I can purchase one from you if you carry spares... Budget is for labour if this is the kind of job we're looking at... I'll cover you for parking vouchers during your visit as needed.

Hi, I have a bath mixer tap with a shower riser. The shower riser has come off and the top outlet of the mixer is now open. The mixer is leaking and water is dribbling constantly. I believe the diverter or the mixer itself needs repairing or replacing. Please let me know your availability and an estimated cost. Thanks.

Mixer tap in kitchen to be replaced, I'd have a go myself by it's a very hard to each place and I don't want to mess things up. It's under a Belfast sink that has a wooden thing underneath to support the sink, so it's a tricky one to get to. Entry is through the small cupboard under the sink about 60cm wide and 50cm high. So it's a snug fit.

Pretty basic job, to remove an existing (wobbly and past it's best) tall mixer kitchen sink tap and replace it with a new one.

Burlington Shower which is leaking through the hot water entry point. Have tried using PFTE paste, but seems to be coming from behind the thread. Leak is making a hissing sound and is less strong when hot water is turned on elsewhere.

I require a skilled plumber to fix a leaking shower mixer in my bathroom. The shower is leaking from somewhere, I think it needs to all come out, check the pipes below and then refit (with new silicone). The one photo shows how it leaks to the outside. Please quote including materials (like silicone etc). - Due date: Flexible

Need 2 toilet seats fixed and perhaps replaced. Sealant/adhesive on a shower fixture has also slipped so need to reattach hand shower.

1. Toilet refill issue The toilet is flushing fine, but it takes a long time to refill, meaning I can’t flush again quickly. It seems like the tank is filling very slowly and may need adjustment or repair. 2. Low water pressure in bathroom tap One of the sink taps has very low flow — almost like a drip. The water pressure is much weaker than normal and likely needs fixing.

Toilet cistern is continuously filling but not shutting off and the flush isn’t working. Kitchen tap is dripping water continuously, a waste of water.

The toilet seat when you sit on it moves to the side and we’ve tried tightening it, but the screws just rotate round. Not sure if we don’t have the correct tool, or the screws are old so may need to change toilet seat altogether or just tighten screws

I’m having an issue with my toilet’s flushing mechanism. The toilet flushes fine if I manually operate / pull the internal flushing mechanism, but the plastic lever mechanism connected to the button panel is no longer working properly and i think might need to be replaced. The unit is around eight years old, and we have quite hard water in the area, so there is some limescale build-up. I’m not sure whether that may have contributed to the problem.
