Work required: Remove the 2 existing separate basin taps Install the 2 new GoodHome Calp basin taps Remove the existing bath/shower mixer tap Install the new GoodHome Annagh bath/shower mixer, including shower hose/head Connect everything to the existing plumbing Check both installations for leaks and make sure hot/cold water is working correctly Leave the area tidy afterwards All replacement taps are already here and ready to install. Please bring the necessary plumbing tools and any small fittings/seals that may be required

I have a mixer tap that is heavily dripping (driven by the hot tap I think) - it has not turned off for a while unless you partially turned it back on a small way ( if you turn it off fully there is a steady flow of water), now it is dripping even when you turn it back on a small way. The tap is also a bit loose/wobbly on the sink but I think that is a separate issue - ideally this would be fixed too!

Kitchen mixer tap is leaking from the base of the spout when either the hot or cold tap is turned on. The more the tap is opened, the more water spurts out. I would like someone to diagnose and repair it.

Mixer tap on bath/shower needs replaced

I would like to replace my kitchen mixer tap. I have already bought the mixer tap, and when replacing, I would also like you to install a new modern adaptation to the copper piping. If you can, i would appreciate what kind of adaptation I should buy before your arrival. I’m flexible with when to proceed.

My shower keeps switching between scalding hot and freezing cold… done a bit of research online, looks like it’s an issue with the Thermostatic Cartridge. Need to remove the cartridge and assess the situation, it might just need a descale. Just not really sure how. I’m guessing it’s not a huge job. If time and skills permit I’d also like to hand a couple of hooks on the wall, just not confident with a drill. Thanks.

i have a kitchen mixer tap that is dripping. the cartridges for both hot and cold water needs replacing and i have received the parts from the tap company. the cartridge is quite simple to replace and there's clear instructions on how to do it (just need to unscrew cap cover, use a wrench to remove old cartridge and refit new one). Water supply can easily be isolated (either underneath tap or mains supply which is within easy reach). this should take total 15-30 mins to do.

Current bath tap does not have a shower attachment. Have bought a new shower tap with a shower attachment. Needs to be swapped over. Can provide pictures if needed.

Issue: Kitchen mixer tap leaking from the gap between the hot/cold handle. The water dribbles down the shaft when in use. No flooding, the tap is still usable for now, but needs dealing with. Thoughts:likely a cartridge replacement or issue with sealing. I'd rather not replace the whole tap, but you'll do a diagnosis first and we'll discuss. Hopefully, it's a short one-and-done job: There's a Screwfix and a Toolstation nearby. If after diagnosis, the right part is available, I can nip off and buy it. We have evidence of a possible water leak from the bathroom. After longer showers, water is leaking into the adjacent kitchen, and there is a brown water stain on the bathroom wall. There is also mould in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. We need the source of the water ingress investigated urgently, as we’re concerned that moisture may be getting into the building fabric.

Looking for an experienced Gas Safe registered heating engineer/plumber to come to my flat in Kennington/Oval on Wednesday 30 September to look at two issues: 1. Baxi boiler / central heating system * Baxi Megaflo 24 System ErP, installed around 2016/17 when the flat was built. * The boiler/system is currently working, but the pressure gradually drops and needs topping up roughly once a week. * I’d like someone to diagnose why it is losing pressure and check for obvious issues such as the expansion vessel, pressure relief valve, filling loop or a leak elsewhere in the system. * The boiler is approaching 10 years old and hasn’t been serviced since I moved in during 2023, so I’d also like a proper boiler service/check while you’re here. * I’m particularly keen to make sure the system is reliable before winter and before I rent the flat out while travelling. 2. Leaking shower temperature control The thermostatic temperature dial on one of the showers is leaking around the control/faceplate area (photos attached). I’d like this investigated and, if it’s a straightforward cartridge/seal/washer issue, repaired at the same visit. Please only offer if you are Gas Safe registered and comfortable diagnosing both boiler/heating-system pressure issues and shower plumbing. I’m looking to spend around £150 for the visit/service and straightforward repairs. I have an Airtasker voucher worth £200, but this needs to cover the total including Airtasker fees, so please bear that in mind when making an offer. If replacement parts or more substantial work are required, I’m happy for you to diagnose the issue and quote me before doing anything additional. Timing is important: the voucher expires at the end of September, so I specifically need someone who can attend Wednesday 30 September. I can provide additional photos/details beforehand if helpful.

Burlington Shower which is leaking through the hot water entry point. Have tried using PFTE paste, but seems to be coming from behind the thread. Leak is making a hissing sound and is less strong when hot water is turned on elsewhere.

Our shower leaks from the base when it is running. I would fix it myself but I don't have the tools.

Plumber needed for built in / concealed cistern. The flush button can be pressed down but the toilet does not flush. I can hear water running inside/behind the toilet and there is a small continuous trickle of water into the toilet bowl, although the water level in the bowl is not rising. The toilet and cistern are built into a tiled wall, but the flush button/plate appears to be removable. 10:30am tomorrow please.

Two bathrooms, back to back, and alongside an outside wall on the second floor of a purpose-built building. The toilets share a waste pipe, waste is flowing from one toilet to another and back again. It seems that there may be a blockage to the outside waste pipe. This job may require going into the cabinet behind the cistern in the main bathroom. (Easy access)

Concealed Geberit toilet cistern leaking slowly into the bowl. After flushing, it refills normally, then starts topping up/hissing again about 5 minutes later. Likely flush valve seal/gasket issue. Access is available through the flush plate, so no tiles need removing. Looking for a plumber experienced with concealed Geberit cisterns to diagnose, repair/replace the faulty seal or valve if needed, and test afterwards. Please quote labour and indicate whether parts are included.

Update - flush has broken on toilet in cistern - it looks like a part has broken off (unclear) and water is filling into the cistern but very slowly; and the flush is moving very slowly.
