Long story, but I've burnt my shower and I've tried to scrub it as much as possible (bicarbonate of soda, kitchen bleach, pink stuff, etc.) and I can't get rid of it. I am renting the flat and I am stressed out. Is someone able to help repair it? I'm wondering if it can be sandpapered off and filled with something, but I'm scared to touch it more. Please help.

Hi I'm doing some renovation to my kitchen on a shoe string budget. Rather than install a brand new kitchen, I've decided to buy new door and drawer fronts. There are 22 (16 doors, 6 drawer fronts). This may sound like a lot but it is literally a case of unscrewing the current doors - and screwing the new doors to fit. A skilled and efficient carpenter can probably do this in about half a day so I've charged the rate on that basis).
