We have built a solid wood flat pack TV cabinet with four cupboard doors each with 2x concealed hinges per door. We have installed the four doors but they are not aligned and we can't seem to adjust them so all are straight, level and open correctly. We need someone to either: (1) adjust them using the concealed hinge mechanism (if it is possible to, but there may bee too many gaps), or (2) to uninstall the doors, repair the holes using strong wood glue/dowels or otherwise to make it strong enough, and then redrill & reinstall the doors. Or maybe someone with experience in this will have a good idea how to fix this. A couple of other small tasks: to mastic an plastic cover to a vent in the ceiling of the bathroom, and to mastic some tiles back down for a concealed toilet cistern. We have the mastic already.

Doors to boiler cabinet do not open because the floor has swollen. the Doors need to be removed from hinges, shaved off from the bottom and then put back.

Rear door requires some material removing from the bottom in order to install thicker flooring. Rest of task depends upon it, so ideally today or tomorrow. 1-2mm estimated by floor fitters (photo 1) Ideally refit or replace draft excluder Ideally raise external step (photo 6)

We have a wonderful Ralph Lauren bed from the US and it is in need of some refurb. A piece has broken off and needs to be re-attached and the high gloss varnish needs to be touched up. Photos attached are of the same bed, but not the one we have, but with similar issues.

I have a door from my kitchen to my garage conversion. I need this door to be soundproofed as we have a lodger in the garage conversion. A soundproof panel or a door blank has been recommended with the following details: Panel: - 3 lengths of timber 89mil x 38mil x 2.5m - Frame - 1 sheet of plasterboard - fill with high density foam or soundproofing foam - make a box and fit final plasterboard on top - a wood sandwich with insulation in between - Due date: Before Sunday, 22 October 2023
