I bought a brand new fridge with filtered water dispenser and ice maker. It’s a plumbed model so I need a licensed plumber to help connect it to the water supply. The kitchen sink and tap is on adjacent wall. Original plumbing kit from fridge is here but I would like a more durable metal (copper or stainless steel) piping option installed requiring either drilling to pass through the cabinetry or underneath. There appears to be a minor leak under my kitchen sink. Two possible sources need to be checked: 1. Sink drain connection (circled in red as ① in photo): shows signs of water seepage, possibly due to a loose or worn seal. 2. Metal tap connection (circled as ②): slight moisture seen near the brass fitting connected to a grey hose – might be a loose joint or minor leak.
