Rod connecting mixer tap to sink needs to be adjusted so that swivel handle turns to correct side for hot or cold water. I have removed the steel plate, rubber and bolt connecting tap to sink. Rubber most likely needs replacing.

My mixture tap was leaking, so I tried to replace the cartridge myself, but the cartridge was not removable, so I decided to replace it with a new tap. I’ve identified that the issue is likely coming from the tap/spindle (handle area), not the shower head itself. The handle has been removed and the spindle is exposed for reference for photos.
