The blind chain in my bedroom has broken. I use a motorised driver so using joiners results in jams and further breakage. There is a very small gap between the blinds and the wall and I’m unsure of how to properly remove the blinds to change the cord. The distance between the top loop and driver is about 175cm. The Roman blind normally pulls up like in first image. When I went to pull it up today, the folds just all fell down (see second image, behind computer). There was a small cord dangling at top, which must link the loops on the back of the blind to the pulley system. It must have broken on both sides at the same time (the blind is about 7 years old). The last photo shows the metal cord which is used to pull the blind up and down. I think it is just the cord that needs fixing, threading through the loops, etc., but I am not confident to do it myself, would prefer someone with experience of blinds.
