The two surfaces are at slightly different heights, so I’m looking to have a suitable metal transition/reducer trim installed to create a neat, secure and tapered finish between the timber and carpet. We are looking for an experienced flooring installer/handyman to repair a section of laminate/timber-look flooring near an internal doorway. As shown in the attached photos, several floorboards have shifted and separated, leaving noticeable gaps between the boards, particularly around the doorway and transition strip.
