Need carpet and underlay removed and replaced in 1 room due to strong pet urine smell likely left by a previous occupant. The odour appears to have soaked through the carpet and underlay, so both need to be ripped up and disposed of, with the subfloor cleaned, sanitised, treated for urine odour, and fully dried before installing new underlay and carpet. Enzymatic treatment and, if needed, sealing the subfloor are commonly recommended where urine smell has penetrated below the carpet. Job details: • Remove existing carpet and underlay in 1 bedroom due to strong pet urine odour • Dispose of removed materials. • Inspect subfloor for urine penetration and contamination. • Clean and sanitise subfloor, apply enzyme-based urine odour treatment, and allow proper drying time. • Seal subfloor if smell remains or has soaked in deeply. • Supply and install new underlay and new carpet, or install owner-supplied materials.

I’d like a quote for: - Removal of carpet, I’ve already done some so approx 13m2 of removal. The foamy under layer is glued to the ground, so would need to be able to get rid of the remaining glue - Supply & install a laminate or hybrid flooring that would be good for an apartment. Needs to be acoustic & waterproof. Two rooms, approx 21m2 - assist in bringing furniture items back in the room with me to avoid scraping. X1 wardrobe, x1 large desk, x1 thin Billy bookshelf, + move furniture items out of the second room. Will just be base furniture, I will pack all smaller items / filler things away.

I want to install HYBRID flooring in my apartment living room + bedroom area. I have also given the exact dimensions of the area in the attachment. Would like to have the carpet in the bedrooms removed and replaced with chevron engineered timber flooring (to match the living room). Also need to have the entire floor refinished. Its currently a dark brown/wood colour and I would like to change it to be like a grey frost. - Due date: Before Thursday, 2 May 2024
