We want to replace the carpet with timber treads to match the existing open hardwood staircase they connect to (I think jarrah or merbau). Photos attached. What I'm after: - Solid hardwood, or engineered boards with a thick real-hardwood top layer. No laminate or hybrid. - New timber and finish matched as closely as possible to the existing stairs - Step heights kept consistent, especially the top and bottom steps, once the carpet is removed and timber added - Anti-slip grooves or inserts in the front edges (we have a toddler) - A timber nosing at the top landing (the hall carpet will stay) - The clawed carpet edge on the small ledge beside the stairs sorted too Please include in your offer: 1. We have installed new carpet in 2 rooms and need to have the bedroom doors shortened by less than 5mm -10mm. We work so will need to arrange a time that works, but generally Fridays from 8.30am to 9.30am work. Other days by agreement. There is parking in front of the house.

I have squeaky boards under a carpet . I do not want to pull the carpet up /I know this can be done without lifting and relaying the carpet . Please only respond if you have actually done this job before and have reviews to confirm

I have purchased Senso Lifestyle Newport Pecan 3m Wide Sheet Vinyl Flooring from Bunnings. I am looking for someone to lay the vinyl sheet on the floor in the laundry (concrete slab) with double sided tape (also purchased) preferably on Friday this week (9 June).
