Looking for an experienced handyman or decking specialist to carefully lift a few sections of timber decking on an upstairs balcony to allow our roofing tradesperson access to clean out the gutters and repair a ceiling leak underneath. Scope of work: • Carefully remove the required decking boards (probably about 15-25 slats.) minimising damage wherever possible. • Boards are currently nailed down, so experience removing nailed timber decking is essential. • Allow time for our roofer to access the area and complete the waterproofing repair. • Reinstall and securely fix the original decking boards on the same day once repairs are complete. We understand some minor damage to the timber may be unavoidable, but would like this kept to a minimum, ideally limited to cosmetic damage that can be remedied with sanding and repainting. Important: This job will need to be coordinated with our roofer, so flexibility to work around their repair on the same day is essential.
