Howdy. I need someone experienced to lay a floating floor. Area is 7 x 5.4 metres. I have the the 5.5mm hybrid boards already purchased. The room won't be completely vacant. We thought we could shove all the furniture (that we cant put elsewhere cos it's too big) into one half of the room, lay half the floor then when it's done, move the furniture to the other side of the room and lay the second half. I’ve had marble flooring scratched and I would like to get them polished

I need to add a small section of polished concrete floor to match existing. We are removing the fireplace and plinth in the photos attached. There is a section of floor underneath the plinth that is missing. The floor is a concrete screed over joists, on the first floor of a warehouse in Richmond. The section required is approx 3300mm x 1100mm x 40mm and is edged with steel strips. The surface is polished and looks like it has a varnished finish. The old fireplace is being removed on Monday 29 September. The work could be commenced on Mon 29 afternoon or Tue 30.
