Hi have a fair few electrical related projects coming up in our music recording studio in Surry Hills One is urgent but simple and then some larger stuff which we are now mapping out and want to get in some quotes and assess as some involve electrical but also some basic heavy lifting and mounting of large ceiling panels with lighting etc Urgent task 1 Looking to replace our air conditioning manual switch with an automatic timed switch. Ideally would love a suggestion as to best option. Wifi capability would be great. Or if not sure, we have a few suggestions and will just need you to install it This is urgent BUT we also have a bigger project for the right tradey. Tasks ( longer term) We’re planning a few upgrades to our recording studio space in Surry Hills and would like a quote for electrical and installation work. The scope mainly involves new power points, lighting adjustments, and mounting equipment. Ideally, someone who can handle both electrical work and installation of heavy roof/wall-mounted materials. The panels to be installed on the roof are going in to gyprock, there are studs which need to be located and carefully drilled in to, so someone with experience in this area is preferred. The Light installation job after 3pm

I have six light fittings that currently use 2-pin (push-in) sockets, but I have GU10 twist-style globes that I want to use instead. Each fitting appears to have an individual transformer in the ceiling. If possible, I’d like to keep using my existing GU10 smart bulbs (IKEA Tradfri). I already use these in other fixtures in the house and they’re smart lights controlled in the IKEA app, so ideally new fixtures will be compatible with those screw-in E16 globes. I need someone to replace these old fittings with a modern fixture that’s compatible with standard screw-in globes (or advise the best fixture type and install it). I don't know if ceiling access is possible. I need a qualified electrician to replace a few down lights in my ceiling. You’ll need a ladder (obviously). No new installation is required this job is simply changing the current light bulbs to the new ones. I will supply the replacement light bulbs - you do not need to bring any. The lights are recessed 70mm cutout LED down lights with an AU plug.

Old wire needs to be cut and a female plug wired onto it, so the new downlights can be plugged in. The old ones are very old with a transformer and can’t be unplugged therefore needs to be cut and rewired. I had already 10 done eight months ago and it took less than one hours Work.

We need our dishwasher checked. It was causing our electricity to short so we turned it off. We had a plumber check behind the dishwasher and there was a leak. The leak has now been fixed but when we turned the dishwasher back on, it wouldn’t turn on. We would like it checked over and if it is broken, we’ll buy a new one. Pricewise - open to any quote.

Only one power point with one outlet in living room so want to put in 2-3 more power points by running an extension line. Tasker came over and then failed to complete the job. Initially wanted to clip down the cord but then told me it wouldn’t look good so couldn’t do it, also said he didn’t have conduit to do the job and left second power point unconnected and wonky. Suggested someone run a conduit to connect new power points. I have purchased 3x power points + housing and if possible another antenna outlet on correct side of the room and power point on wall on other side of entrance. Please see photos.
