My Electrolux 7kg dryer, model EDV705HQWA, has malfunctioned and I'm hopeful it can be repaired. It was making a knocking sound when spinning in one direction but not the other. It did this for about 15 minutes and I was hopeful it would self correct but it did not an no longer spins. The heating still seems fine. When we removed it from the wall it sounded like there was a loose piece in the bottom, do perhaps there's a rod or something that has snapped off? If there is a handy dryer repair person out there who can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it! - Due date: Flexible

LG - True Steam - washing machine - spin is not working - comes up with error code advising that load is out of balance. We’ve done the obvious readjusting washing and putting different load sizes in but the spin is still not working. See attached photo. Fisher & Paykel dryer - the door doesn’t seem to firmly close and therefore dryer only switches on for about 30 seconds before turning off again. Tried blocking door with bits of cloth but not really solving the problem. We will purchase a new washing machine and dryer but seeing if we can fix both now for the short term.

My clothes dryer can’t sit on top of my washing machine because some taps are in the way. It’s too big for the shelf that is already installed on the wall. Shelf needs removing and dryer/wall need to have a bracket attached. May need to remove bracket already on the wall I don’t have a bracket to supply other than the one on the wall in pictures

Hi there my clothes dryer is not heating, I assume the heating element has failed?

I'm looking for someone to remove dryer fittings that weren't put in the wall properly, then redo them so the dryer won't damage or come off the wall in use. There was a dryer there previously, so it's not that the wall is too weak. The new dryer weighs circa 25kg empty, and has a drying capacity of 6kg. I would prefer that you have done this a million times (I exaggerate slightly, but I'm sure you'll sense my apprehension given what I'm asking to be done :) ) and that you have insurance covering your workmanship. I have the hanging brackets, plastic spacers and exhaust connector. I don't have the screws or timber. Manufacturer instructions shown in pics.
